History of Faculty

Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology of Kerman University of Medical Sciences has been accepting students since 2008 in the M.Sc. of epidemiology and since 2009 in the M.Sc. of biostatistics and PhD in epidemiology. The doctoral course in biostatistics has also been launched since February 2013.

The general policy of the group is to train specialized and efficient personnel with sufficient scientific ability and the ability to use different software. Naturally, a part of this need is realized through course units. Besides that, group journal clubs and educational workshops are other ways to increase the level of students skills.
